Sandra Richter is the Robert H. Gundry Chair of Biblical Studies at Westmont College. A graduate of Harvard University, she has served both graduate and undergraduate institutions and spent many years in field archaeology. Newly appointed to the NIV translation committee, her academic expertise is the Book of Deuteronomy and its relationship to the Deuteronomistic History.
