Grant Wacker is Gilbert T. Rowe Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Christian History at Duke Divinity School. A graduate of Harvard University, he taught at the University of North Carolina from 1977 until 1992, when he moved to Duke. He is a lay member of First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC, where he lives with his wife, Katherine, and beloved bulldog, Jedd Wacker.
