Davinson Bohorquez
Davinson is an ordained elder with the Church of the Nazarene and currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Christian Formation at Vancouver First Church of the Nazarene. He graduated from Regent in 2021 with a MATS in New Testament Studies and in 2022 with a ThM where he completed a thesis focused on articulating exegetical guidelines for interpreting the contentious passage of Matthew 25:31-46, the so-called ‘parable of the sheep and the goats.’ Davinson’s areas of interest are the Gospel of Matthew, koine Greek, Discourse Analysis and biblical theology.
Davinson and his wife Halyna are both immigrants to Canada. Davinson is from Colombian background and Halyna is from the Ukraine. They presently live in Vancouver with their little girl Eva Beth.
