Roger is the Rector of the Parish of Christ the King in the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina. He completed his initial ministerial training at Wycliffe Hall and later, while serving in a congregation in British Columbia, completed an M.A. in Christian Doctrine at Regent College. Between 2013-2017, Roger helped launch St Peter's Fireside, a city-centre Anglican church plant in Vancouver. He was also an Assistant Chaplain for the Anglican Studies Program at Regent College.

In 2017, Roger and his wife, Cindy, relocated to Britain, where he completed a PhD in Christian theology. During and after his doctoral studies, he served as a collegiate chaplain and as an Assisting Priest in several English parishes. In 2022, Roger became the fourth Rector of Christ the King.
