Isabelle Hamley is a theologian, writer, and broadcaster currently working as Theological Adviser to the House of Bishops in the Church of England, where she was formerly Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury. She has previously been a lecturer, parish priest, and university chaplain. Recent publications include God of Justice and Mercy: A Theological Commentary on Judges, and the Archbishop of Canterbury's Lent Book for 2022, Embracing Justice. She is married to Paul and they have a teenage daughter.
