Getting a Regent College Library Card
The library is open by appointment (available soon) to get a physical library card. This is required to check out physical books. However, the library's online resources, including ebooks, is available to current students with your Regent Login.
Regent students have access to UBC’s extensive library system. You will need a UBC card to borrow items. To obtain a UBC card, visit the Carding Office in the UBC Bookstore. *Note: During the pandemic the Carding Office may have limited access. Check their website for details.
If you cannot get a UBC card due to the pandemic, you can use your CWL to borrow UBC's online library resources. Find out here how to set up your CWL.
Vancouver Public Library
To access the extensive collections of the Vancouver Public Library (VPL), you will need to apply for a card directly through the VPL. Please note that a VPL library card is free if you live within the City of Vancouver, but requires a fee if you live on campus or on the University Endowment Lands (the University Endowment Lands are not formally part of the City of Vancouver). Find details on obtaining a library card at the VPL website.
