Paul Pearce

Director of the Centre for Healthy Aging Transitions, Carey Institute

Paul Pearce is currently involved as the director of the Centre for Healthy Aging Transitions (CHAT), which is an emerging ministry of the Carey Institute in Vancouver. CHAT offers seminars, resources and other consultation opportunities to address the challenges and opportunities presented by an unprecedented growth in the older adult demographic, as a result of the aging boomer generation.
He has served in a variety of leadership, pastoral and administrative roles across Canada. He served as the Executive Director of the Beulah Garden Homes Society in East Vancouver, in a number of ministry capacities across western Canada, as an educator in Ontario, and as a pastor and a CBWC denominational staff leader in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver.
He is also a board director and the treasurer of the Kinbrace Community Society, which provides refugee housing and support and serves with the staff of First Baptist Church in Vancouver in coordinating the review and planning for ministry with older adults in the church and community.
