IT Services at Regent

IT Helpdesk

Our IT Helpdesk team assists students with setting up accounts and passwords, accessing wi-fi, using the computer labs, printing, and troubleshooting.

REGIS & Moodle

REGIS is our registration, finance, and student services system. Moodle is our online learning platform.

Printing, Copying & Computer Access

While students generally need their own computer, Regent does have a computer lab available in our library. Students can print from lab computers or from their own devices using PaperCut. Additional computing, printing, and copying services are available around UBC and through local commercial printers.

Server Maintenance

In order to provide better and more predictable service to Regent community, the IT team does ongoing maintenance on Regent's servers. Although service interruptions will be kept minimum, users should be aware that some services such as Moodle, PaperCut, etc., may be briefly unavailable during maintenance without an explicit warning. If work needs to be performed that requires an extended service outage, a notice will be placed as far in advance as possible.
