Dr. James Houston Turns 95

November 21, 2017

We are delighted to wish a very happy ninety-fifth birthday to our dear friend and one of our founding fathers, Dr. James Houston. Dr. Houston, known affectionately to many as Jim, was appointed Regent's first Principal in 1970. Since that time, he has served our community faithfully in a number of capacities, blessing us with his verve, insight, and creativity. Dr. Houston currently serves as the Board of Governors' Professor of Spiritual Theology and will offer two classes in 2018: a summer course entitled Child Theology and a fall travel course to the Holy Land.

Please join us to mark this special occasion on December 5, 2017. Chapel at 11 am will be followed by cake in the atrium. All are welcome.
