What does mercy mean for those who live with intolerable pain? The Canadian courts and government have decided that assisted dying is, at least in some cases, the answer. Are they right? On June 28, Dr. Ellen Wiebe makes the case for assisted dying, arguing that those who suffer are entitled to put an end to the pain. Dr. Edwin Hui, Dr. Tim Maughan, and hospital chaplain Philip Weaver respond, bringing Christian ethics and theology to bear on this deeply practical issue. Don't miss out on this life-and-death discussion: tune in to Redux at noon on June 28.
