Regent College 50th Anniversary Virtual Reunion

Please note that this event was originally planned for June 27, 2020 in Vancouver. In light of the COVID-19 situation, it will take place online June 25-26, 2021.
On July 21, 1969, while Neil Armstrong took his first steps among the craters of the moon, fifty-six eager students and seven professors were on a different (but still momentous) kind of journey. In a rented room on the UBC campus, they were neck-deep in week three of the first ever Regent Summer Programs. One small step for theological education!
A year later, in the fall of 1970, Regent formed its first regular class. Four faculty members welcomed four students, all keen to be part of this new theological experiment. That small but mighty contingent blazed a trail for many more. In the five decades since, nearly 20,000 students have joined us at Regent College.
We look forward to celebrating 50+ years of creative, thoughtful theological education with you. We’ll gather together online to give thanks for all God has done through Regent, and to share in the excitement of God’s continuing call into the next 50 years! Whatever your connection to the Regent story and wherever you are in the world, we hope you’ll save the date and celebrate with us on the weekend of June 25–26, 2021!
