John Stackhouse will be one of the keynote speakers at this year's Write! Vancouver event. Along with publisher/editor Marc Côté, John Stackhouse will discuss the topic "Faithfulness is no excuse for sloth: why God expects excellence" at a special soiree on Friday, May 24.
Write! Vancouver is sponsored by The Word Guild, a national organization connecting, developing, and promoting Canadian writers, editors, and readers who affirm the Apostles' Creed. This inclusive conference brings together a diverse and open-minded community of writers from a wide variety of backgrounds.

- New York Times bestselling author Kathy Tyers (DipCS '07, MCS '09) will teach a session titled "Point of View" and will be available for individual critique sessions.
Alumna Deb Sears (former student) is on the organizing committee of the conference and will emcee the Saturday events.
