Learning and the Art of Teaching
This course is designed to shape reflective practitioners of learning and teaching. It is meant to equip people for enhanced teaching experiences in a wide variety of settings, including their workplaces, congregations, or formal school or university settings. Its structure is built around exploring 9 components: learners, teachers, settings, contexts, worldview, goals, content, methods, and assessment.
How this course works
This course is highly dialogical, participatory, and interactive. Students are expected to complete the assigned readings on Moodle before our class session and to come to class ready to discuss and apply the ideas we encounter together. The pedagogical assumption is that we are learners together about learning, with each person bringing insights and ideas worth sharing. We are all teachers and all learners in this course.Additional Info
