HIST/THEO 650
Anglican History and Theology
Course Description
Modern Anglican identity is the product of a fascinating but often neglected history. In this course, we’ll meet the people and explore the events that have shaped the Anglican Church from its earliest days to the recent Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) movement. We’ll examine core convictions, contentions, and concerns that have contributed to Anglican theology, and consider thought from a variety of Anglican traditions. You’ll leave the course prepared to serve both within and beyond Anglican contexts with greater historical awareness and sensitivity.| Offered | 2026 Summer |
