Seminar: Leading and Learning in a World of Difference
Our world is more interconnected than ever before. At the same time, we are faced with increasing diversity in culture, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic strata, religion, generations etc. within the communities in which we live and work. How do we engage effectively across difference? And how can a deeper understanding of these differences inform how we lead? What are the implications for Christian leaders and practitioners serving in diverse contexts? How do we love our global and local neighbours in ways that are meaningful to them? How can we develop “cultural intelligence” in our relationships? Further, how do we lead in a way that is truly effective – even transformative – across difference?
This seminar will explore these questions and more and is relevant for students in marketplace, congregational leadership, intercultural ministry, or educational contextsTo get into a priority enrollment course, you must register by the early registration deadline (see Important Dates) and must submit a Priority Enrollment Course Request (available through the "Additional Registration Requests" section of the Registration menu in REGIS or download it directly here) after completing your registration. Class lists will be determined within a week after the early registration deadline, and you will be notified by email shortly thereafter. First priority will be given to students who need a course for the program to which they have been admitted, and who have registered by the early registration deadline.
