Paul and His Letters
Course Description
This course is an introduction to the thirteen powerful letters attributed to Paul in the New Testament. Together we will investigate Paul’s inspiring life of faith, and the life-transforming teaching contained in his letters. We will pay special attention to the issues raised when we seek to apply Paul’s insights to our lives today.
On Campus and Online: This course is being offered on campus and online in the J-Term 2025. Students may apply to take this course online when registering for the course through REGIS. In order to support students who are unable to attend the regular online class sessions, recordings will be made available on the course Moodle page for 48 hours following each class. In some cases, attendance at other sessions may be required.

Teaching Faculty
Paul Spilsbury
President; Professor of New Testament
Dr. Paul Spilsbury joined the Regent College faculty in August 2015 as Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament and assumed the role of President in 2025. Paul's doctoral studies, undertaken at the University of Cambridge (Queens' College), focused on the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus. Before joining Regent's faculty, he taught New Testament at Canadian Bible College and Ambrose University.
