Seminar: Leading and Learning in a World of Difference
Our world is more interconnected than ever before. At the same time, we are faced with increasing diversity in culture, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic strata, religion, generations etc. within the communities in which we live and work. How do we engage effectively across difference? And how can a deeper understanding of these differences inform how we lead? What are the implications for Christian leaders and practitioners serving in diverse contexts? How do we love our global and local neighbours in ways that are meaningful to them? How can we develop “cultural intelligence” in our relationships? Further, how do we lead in a way that is truly effective – even transformative – across difference? This seminar will explore these questions and more and is relevant for students in marketplace, congregational leadership, intercultural ministry, or educational contexts
