Marketplace Theology & Ministry

This course meets on January 13 to March 10, 2021
This course is designed for pastors, to assist them in the empowerment of members of their churches that work in the world, as well as being designed for people whose primary occupation is in society. This course aims to help students inhabit a biblical theological vision for life in the marketplace. It will seek to locate an understanding of ministry in the marketplace within the wider context of God’s mission, and the mission and ministry of the church in the world. The marketplace includes all the areas where exchange takes place including business, professions, not-for-profits, ecommerce and the church.
Format
This course with its extensive interviews qualifies as having completed APPL 692: Marketplace Field Education, which is required for students in MA in Theological Studies concentrating in Marketplace Theology.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
