Brittany Kim is an adjunct professor of Old Testament (at North Park Theological Seminary and Northeastern Seminary), director of Every Voice: A Center for Kingdom Diversity in Christian Theological Education, and spiritual director. She holds a PhD in Biblical Theology: Old Testament from Wheaton College and is the author of Lengthen Your Tent-Cords: The Metaphorical World of Israel’s Household in the Book of Isaiah (Eisenbrauns) and several essays, including “Prayer in Ruth and Esther” (in Praying with Ancient Israel, Abilene Christian University Press). She also co-authored Understanding Old Testament Theology: Mapping the Terrain of Recent Approaches (Zondervan) with Charlie Trimm. Brittany lives in Chicago, IL, with her husband, who pastors the Vineyard Christian Church of Evanston, and their three kids. And she enjoys biking around the city, soaking in the beauty of Lake Michigan, savoring dark chocolate, and engaging in deep conversations with friends.
