Regent students have access to some of the best library resources in Canada.
The John Richard Allison Library at Regent
The John Richard Allison Library at Regent College is one of the major theological libraries in Canada. Its catalogue, Theolog, provides instant access to the holdings of all three theological libraries on the UBC campus. These include the VST H.R. MacMillan Theological Library at the Vancouver School of Theology and the Dr. John Micallef Memorial Library at St. Mark’s College.
Getting a Regent College Library Card
You can obtain your library card at the circulation desk. A copy of your registration statement is required to issue a library card to you.
Regent students have access to UBC’s extensive library system. You will need a UBC card to borrow items. To obtain a UBC card, visit the Carding Office in the UBC Bookstore.
Vancouver Public Library
To access the extensive collections of the Vancouver Public Library (VPL), you will need to apply for a card directly through the VPL. Please note that a VPL library card is free if you live within the City of Vancouver, but requires a fee if you live on campus or on the University Endowment Lands (the University Endowment Lands are not formally part of the City of Vancouver). Find details on obtaining a library card at the VPL website.
