Change of Faculty Appointment for Dr. Ross Hastings
At their October 2010 meeting, the Regent College Board of Governors changed Dr. Ross Hastings's faculty appointment from "Associate Professor of Missions Studies" to "Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology." The change reflects Ross's evolving role at the college and the leadership he will be giving to Pastoral Studies going forward. Some of Ross's teaching responsibilities in the area of Missions Studies will be assumed by Dr. Diane Stinton, our newly appointed Dean of Students and Associate Professor of Missions Studies.
Ross Hastings joined in Regent College in 2006 after serving eleven years as the senior pastor of Peace Portal Alliance Church in White Rock, BC. He has earned two PhDs, one in organo-metallic chemistry at Queen’s University (ON), and the other in theology at St. Andrew’s University, in his native Scotland.
