Introduction to Christian Counselling

This course is an introduction to basic counselling theories and skills. Major topics include: a theological integration of psychology and counselling; basic listening skills; issues in clinical practice; assessment and intervention; and special topics in counselling. As an overview course, the class time will be largely of a lecture nature. However, time will be given in class for you to participate in role-play situations and work on basic counselling skills.
