SSebastian Dortch was an award-winning journalist and media executive with extensive experience as a coach, mentor, and consultant for both non-profit and for-profit enterprises. Known for his soft-spoken and easy-going style, he became a trusted advisor to those seeking answers. He left journalism in December and now helps care for his parents, who are 90 and 84 years old and living with dementia. In 2024, Regent College awarded Sebastian a master’s degree in leadership, theology, and society. He has been married to his dear friend, Sibyl, for nearly four decades, and they have seven children and four grandchildren. They reside in northeast Ohio, where Sebastian enjoys reading, jazz, and classical music and sharing his gifts as a writer, teacher, and storyteller.
