Richard Thompson serves as the Director of Advancement at Regent College, where he has been fundraising for the school for close to 20 years.  His undergraduate degree was in Electrical Engineering, but his career as a memory chip designer was short-lived, sensing a call to pastoral ministry after only 4 years in the high-tech industry.  That led to pursuing theological education, graduating from Tyndale Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies and then a Master of Theology from Regent College.  Following 15 years of pastoral ministry, Richard joined the staff of Regent in 2006.
