The Peace of Creation: Recovering a Theological Balance

Why do some Christians resist environmental concern while others embrace it? Jonathan R. Wilson argued that attitudes toward creation care are often shaped by deeper beliefs about the incarnation, atonement, and eschatology. Recovering a fuller doctrine of creation, he suggested, can help Christians see environmental stewardship as a faithful response to the God who creates, redeems, and will renew all things.
