Hans Boersma
Hans Boersma is the St. Benedict Servants of Christ Chair in Ascetical Theology at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin and a former Regent College faculty member. His scholarly interests include Catholic thought, the church fathers, and spiritual interpretation of Scripture.
About the Contributor
Before moving to Nashotah House in 2019, Hans Boersma spent six years teaching at Trinity Western University and fourteen years at Regent College. His main theological interests include Catholic thought, the church fathers, and spiritual interpretation of Scripture. He is the author of Pierced by Love: Divine Reading with the Christian Tradition (Lexham Press, 2023), Five Things Theologians Wish Biblical Scholars Knew (IVP Academic, 2021), Seeing God (Eerdmans, 2018), and Heavenly Participation (Eerdmans, 2011).
Fr. Boersma is an ordained priest within the Anglican Church in North America. He and his wife Linda live in Langley, BC. They attend Saint Matthew’s Anglican Church in Abbotsford, BC.
