Bill DeJong
Bill DeJong is Faculty Chaplain and Director of the Albert M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship at Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON, where he also teaches in the Religion and Theology department. His research interests include worship and the arts, worldview formation, interdisciplinary studies, academic development, and youth culture.
About the Contributor
In addition to his roles at Redeemer University, Bill is a Fellow of the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology in Cambridge, UK. His educational background includes a BA from Redeemer University, an MDiv from Mid-America Reformed Seminary, and a PhD from McMaster Divinity College. Bill's PhD dissertation, a multidisciplinary exploration of gratitude, was published as Eucharistic Reciprocity: A Practical Theological Inquiry into the Virtue of Gratitude (Pickwick, 2019).
Bill and his wife, Kim, have four adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. He was a Scholar-in-Residence at Regent College in 2025–2026.
