Shalom Aleichem - Leaving Regent Retreat
This event has now ended. Please view this page to see all our upcoming events.
The Faculty and the Dean of Students Office invite all graduates and students who are leaving Regent to participate in Shalom Aleichem—our Leaving Regent Retreat. Spouses are also warmly invited to join us. This year, the retreat will be offered virtually over Zoom, so that we can participate in this event in real time. More details will be emailed to registrants the week before the event.
In light of the disruption our community has experienced over the past month, we feel that it is more important than ever to provide time for you to gather, reflect on your time at Regent, and receive our blessing as you step into the next stage of your journey. This event is a key part of this process and our gift to you as you move on from Regent.
In the lead-up to the event, we encourage you to prepare for our time together by writing a very brief summary of your experience at Regent. This will be read prior to the retreat by the Faculty and Dean of Students Office. Please use the following three questions as a guide:
- How have you changed as a person in the process of being at Regent? (50–200 words)
- What things have you learned during your time at Regent that you would like to continue to cultivate in your life? (50–200 words)
- What needs are you feeling most strongly as you journey on? (50–200 words)
Your summary can be emailed to Claire Perini at [email protected], no later than Friday, April 24, 2020.
