About the Lecture
How was the tradition of Jesus preserved during the time between the event and the writing down of a gospel 30 years later? Many suggest this tradition was free floating and much happened to the portrayal of the core event in that time. We will examine that premise and suggest that it does not take into account how tradition could be passed on when the content mattered.
