Pastoral Theology Position

Regent College invites applications for a 5-year faculty position in Pastoral Theology at a senior level to begin August 1, 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Regent is a transdenominational graduate school of theology in the historic evangelical tradition. Applicants for this position should resonate deeply with Regent’s mission (see http://www.regent-college.edu/about-us/mission-and-values), and must be able to subscribe to the College’s Theological Position comprised of a Doctrinal Statement and Moral Vision statement (see http://www.regent-college.edu/about-us/theological-position).
The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in theology and have extensive experience in the life and mission of the church. They should have a deep understanding of the needs of Christian ministry in the complex cultural moment we currently find ourselves in, and a desire to engage theologically and pastorally in the formation of a new generation of ministers. They will have the capacity to teach a range of Pastoral Theology courses, and the ability to lead the college in a process of shaping the MDiv curriculum for the needs of the church today.
