Course Description

This course examines the relationship of the gospel to culture – including the witness and mission of the church and its people in our contemporary global context. We will employ lectures, readings, dialogue, and relevant case studies – utilizing frameworks of analysis and theologically based response. We’ll also engage with guest speakers who will reflect on their vision and experience as Christians as they describe the opportunities and challenges in “living out the Gospel” within their chosen sphere. This course aims to help students explore how to faithfully live out their vocation in the contexts where God has called them as intelligent, vigorous, and joyful Christians committed to Christ, His church, and His world.
