About
Marion Taylor is Professor of Old Testament at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto. A graduate of the University of Toronto and Yale University, she teaches and writes in the areas of Old Testament studies and the history of biblical interpretation. Marion is widely recognized for her pioneering research on women interpreters of the Bible and has helped recover the writings and contributions of hundreds of women whose voices were largely forgotten in the history of biblical interpretation. She is the author and editor of numerous books, including the award-winning Handbook of Women Biblical Interpreters, Voices Long Silenced: Women Biblical Interpreters through the Centuries, and the Story of God Bible Commentary volume on Ruth and Esther. Her current research explores how sixteenth-century women engaged with and interpreted the writings of Paul.
