Dr. Adam Johnson teaches in Biola University’s Torrey Honors College, a great books program that studies classics of Western civilization. His work as a theologian focuses on the doctrine of the atonement, exploring the many ways in which the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ effect the reconciliation of all things to God. He is currently working on his fifth and sixth books on the doctrine of the atonement. Adam and his family lead the Torrey National Parks class every summer, taking students camping and hiking in National Parks around the United States. An avid woodworker, he has built most of his family’s furniture.
