Youngjoo Han is Associate Professor in Counselling Psychology at Vancouver Institute for Evangelical Worldview (VIEW) and Chief Counsellor at Hae-A Counselling Center. Previously, she taught at Korea Counselling Graduate University in Seoul from 2011 to 2023 and Director Professor of Counselling Research Institute for Fifteen-Aged Adolescents from 2020 to 2023. She also served as President of the Korean Society for Woman Psychology from 2020 to 2024.

Dr. Han’s academic interests including counselling and spirituality, factors contributing to counselling outcomes, qualitative research on counselling experience, group counselling, programs based on religious rites, narrative inquiry on victims’ lives, and counselling adolescents and women. She is the author or co-author of four books and many academic articles.
