David A. Currie
About
David A. Currie has spent roughly half of his ministry primarily as a pastor—in campus ministry, church planting, head of staff—and the other half primarily in theological education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Here he has taught church history in urban and global contexts and Anglican studies on a master’s level and in a variety of Doctor of Ministry tracks (Pastoral Theology in Practice, Spiritual Formation for Ministry Leaders, Outreach & Discipleship, Biblical Worship, and Church Planting and Multiplication).
Dave is a presbyter in the Anglican Church in North America and currently serves along with his wife, Susan Porterfield Currie, as affiliate clergy at Church of the Cross in Boston, Massachusetts. They have three adult children and a growing number of grandchildren who bring them great joy. Reflecting his Scottish heritage and doctoral research focus, Dave also serves as Chaplain to the Learned Kindred of Currie. One of his hobbies is lobstering.
