Welcome & Announcements

Call to Worship | Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
    the Father, the Almighty,
    maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
    the only Son of God,
    eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
    true God from true God,
    begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
        he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
        and was made man.
    For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
            in accordance with the Scriptures;
        he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

This I Believe

Our Father everlasting, the all-creating One
God Almighty
Through Your Holy Spirit, conceiving Christ the Son
Jesus our Saviour

We believe in God our Father, we believe in Christ the Son
We believe in the Holy Spirit, our God is three in One
We believe in the resurrection, that we will rise again
For we believe in the Name of Jesus

Our judge and our defender, suffered and crucified
Forgiveness is in You
Descended into darkness, you rose in glorious life
Forever seated high

We believe in You
We believe You rose again
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord

We believe in life eternal, we believe in the virgin birth
We believe in the saints' communion and in Your holy Church
We believe in the resurrection, when Jesus comes again
For we believe in the Name of Jesus

For we believe in the Name of Jesus
For we believe in the Name of Jesus

Our God Alone

© 2010 The Brilliance

Who formed the mountains and filled the oceans?
Our God alone, our God alone
Who took the dust, breathed life in us?
Our God alone, our God alone

    Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
    Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Who came from heaven for our redemption?
Our God alone, our God alone
Who died for sin that we may live?
Our God alone, our God alone

Who rose again? Death could not win
Our God alone, our God alone
Who is returning bringing a kingdom?
Our God alone, our God alone

We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone
We will worship, we will worship
Our God alone, our God alone

Nothing to Fear

© 2019 Audrey Assad, Isaac Wardell & Paul Zack

When you pass through the waters I will be with you
And the depths of the rivers shall not overwhelm
When you walk through the fire You will not be burned
I am the Lord, I am the Lord

And there is nothing to fear, nothing to fear
There is nothing to fear, nothing to fear
For I am with you al ways

In the depths of your sorrow I wept beside you
When you walked through the shadow I drew you near
Yesterday, today, tomorrow always the same
I am the Lord, I am the Lord

What can separate you from
My perfect love?
What can separate you from
My perfect love?
What can separate you from
My perfect love?
Do not fear, do not fear
Do not fear

Scripture | 1 Peter 3:13-15 (NIV)

13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

Prayers of the People

May we be open with our whole selves, that all may see the hope we have in Christ.

Let Us Be Known By Our Love

© 2015 Micah Massey, Ryan Flanigan, Matt Armstrong & Nate Moore

Let us be known by our love
In every word, in every deed honor the Son
Let our light shine in every eye
Let us be known by our love

For the glory of the Father
For the glory of the Son
For the glory of the Spirit
Let us be known by our love

Let us be known by our joy
In every home, in every heart sing to the Lord
Let our life show goodness and hope
Let us be known by our joy

For the glory of the Father
For the glory of the Son
For the glory of the Spirit
Let us be known by our joy

Let us be known by our peace
In every town, in every tribe Jesus is King
Let us go forth, heal and restore
Let us be known by our peace

For the glory of the Father
For the glory of the Son
For the glory of the Spirit
Let us be known by our peace
Let us be known by our joy
Let us be known by our love
