During this year's Summer Programs, join us each Wednesday for a roundtable conversation featuring members of our world-class summer faculty. The professors and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.

This week, Old Testament scholars Lissa Wray Beal and Matt Lynch will discuss Old Testament difficulties such as violence and trauma. Join us at noon in Room 100, and feel free to bring your lunch—and your questions.

About the Speakers

Rev. Dr. Lissa Wray Beal is Professor of Old Testament at Providence Theological Seminary in Winnipeg. She joins us for Summer Programs to teach Jeremiah: Pain and Hope for Troubled Times (May 16–20).

Dr. Matthew Lynch is Regent’s Assistant Professor in Old Testament. He’s teaching two courses during this year's Summer Programs: Wrestling with Wrath and Violence in the Old Testament (May 16–20) and Old Testament Foundations (May 30–June 10).

Format and Attendance

Summer faculty roundtables will be offered in person at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.
