ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Regent’s Dal Schindell Gallery is pleased to present Common, an exhibition featuring a selection of illustrations by artist and architect José Euzébio Costa Silveira found in the book Common: Fifty Reflections On Everyday Life. José was commissioned by Julie Lane-Gay and Christina Lui to illuminate the essays written by the book’s fifty contributors in commemoration of Regent College’s 50th anniversary and the College’s commitment to theology for life. The Dal Schindell Gallery exhibition celebrates José’s artistic contribution to the book.

OPENING RECEPTION

Wednesday, December 15 | 4pm–7pm
Common will run from December 15, 2021 to January 12, 2022

ABOUT THE ARTIST

José Euzebio Costa Silveira is a Brazilian freelance architect whose work can be found around the globe. He holds degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering, and has several publications specializing in Earth Architecture. In addition to his freelance work, José regularly teaches courses on drawing, graphical representation, architectural planning as an assistant professor at universities throughout Brazil. He and his wife Ana are currently based in Vancouver, as Ana is completing a graduate degree at Regent College.
