Marcelo Vargas, a Bolivian theologian and writer, has dedicated his life to mission and indigenous ministry. He shifted from engineering to ministry, later founding the Training Centre for Mission in 1996. His book, Faith that Indigenizes, explores the role of indigenous peoples in shaping Christianity. Marcelo also contributed to the Latin America Bible Commentary. His work emphasizes holistic theology and the integration of indigenous faith into Christian spirituality. He hopes to see indigenous perspectives enrich the church’s mission and spirituality across Latin America.
