Christian Education Bursaries
Regent's Christian Education Bursaries are funded by a generous gift from a local couple who are passionate about helping church communities strengthen and enhance their teaching ministries.
These bursaries cover most of the cost of auditing a Spring/Summer or J-Term (January Session) course. Recipients do not need to be current Regent students, and do not need to apply for a program: all you need is a desire to learn and enrich your teaching!
Eligibility
Recipients of Christian Education Bursaries must be laypeople active in a teaching ministry in their local church (e.g., teaching Sunday school, leading a small group Bible study, etc.). Church staff members and students currently enrolled in a Regent College program are not eligible for this bursary.
Process
Christian Education Bursaries will be administered by Regent’s Alumni & Church Relations Office. Applying is easy:
- Fill out this online form to let us know you’re interested and confirm your eligibility. We’ll let you know whether your application has been approved by May 7 (for Spring courses) or June 22 (for Summer courses).
- Register online to audit the course of your choosing, and pay $80 to cover the registration fee and tuition deposit.
- The remaining cost of your course will be covered by the bursary (over $300 in value). Funds will be credited to your student account before the registration and payment deadline.
