Pastoral Theology Faculty Position
Full Time
Regent College invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Pastoral Theology to begin January 1, 2027 (preferred), or August 1, 2027 (possible). This is a full time position located on the Regent Campus in Vancouver, BC.
The salary range for this open-rank position is $92,783-$131,999 and will come with extended health care, participation in the College’s pension plan, housing allowance, and professional development funds.
Regent is a transdenominational graduate school of theology in the historic evangelical tradition. Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in theology (PhD preferred) and have extensive experience in the life and mission of the church. They should have a deep understanding of the needs, opportunities, and challenges of Christian ministry, as well as the ability to engage theologically and pastorally in forming a new generation of ministers from diverse backgrounds. The transdenominational identity of the College requires engagement with a variety of theological convictions on many issues. The candidate must demonstrate a clear commitment to training both men and women for ministry. In addition, the ability to build local and global partnerships with churches in Regent's multicultural context along the Pacific Rim, including ethnic, immigrant, and indigenous Christian communities, will be especially welcome. The candidate will also exhibit a proven capacity to teach a range of Pastoral Theology courses at the graduate level and be able to provide oversight and leadership to the Master of Divinity (MDiv) program.
