Health & Wellbeing

Regent College is committed to helping foster the growth and health of the whole person. We seek to be attentive to one another, and to offer students resources to support their health and wellbeing.

Living Well

At Regent, we often talk about holistic wellbeing as "living well." Living well at Regent College is a community effort. Faculty members and the Dean of Students team are available to offer pastoral care or support to students with various needs as they arise. Students are also encouraged to offer care and support to one another. If you are in need of pastoral care, please contact someone in the Dean of Students team and we will be glad to work with you to help find the support you need.

In This Section

The Health & Wellbeing section of our website gathers information about programs and resources available to support students' physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Accessibility & Accommodation

Regent warmly welcomes students and other community members who have special accessibility needs. Regent's campus is designed to be accessible to everyone. If you would benefit from academic accommodation for a disability, we're here to help.

Healthcare

Regent students have access to a wide range of healthcare services at UBC and beyond. This page also provides information about public and extended health insurance (MSP and AMS Health & Dental) for students.

Mental Health & Counselling

Regent is committed to helping foster the growth and health of the whole person. If you could use some additional support as you navigate the complexities of life during your time as a student, we welcome you to tap into Regent's Counselling Network. Counselling and addiction support services are also available from UBC.

Spiritual Direction

Regent offers students the opportunity to receive spiritual direction at subsidized rates through the Spiritual Direction Service, facilitated by the Dean of Students Office.
