Convocation
The Board of Governors and Senate of Regent College request the honour of your presence at the 56th Convocation for the purpose of conferring diplomas and degrees and awarding prizes.
This year’s Convocation ceremony will be held at the University of British Columbia's Chan Centre for the Performing Arts on the afternoon of Monday, May 4, 2026. We look forward to celebrating with this year’s graduating students and their friends and loved ones.
Location & Parking
The ceremony will take place at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (6265 Crescent Road, Vancouver, BC).
Paid parking is available near the Chan Centre in the Rose Garden Parkade (6278 NW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC). Detailed parking information and driving/transit directions are available on the Chan Centre website.
Schedule
Chan Centre doors will open at 12:45 pm on May 4. Guests should plan to arrive at 1 pm for their choice of seats. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm, and will last approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets
Convocation is a ticketed event. Tickets are free of charge, and will be distributed by the Chan Centre. Tickets will initially be made available via email to members of the 2026 graduating class. On Wednesday, April 15, tickets will be made available to the public via a link on this page.
Additional Information for Guests
Children are welcome to attend this event, but childcare will not be provided. Please also note that the Chan Centre concert hall cannot accommodate strollers.
While celebration of our graduates is greatly appreciated, helium balloons and confetti are not permitted at the venue for this event.
