A public memorial service for Dr. Jim Houston will be held at First Baptist Church (969 Burrard St) in Vancouver at 1 pm on Saturday, May 2. Members of the Regent community are invited to attend in person or to watch via livestream.

Attending in Person

Please note that there will be some road closures in the vicinity of First Baptist Church due to the Vancouver Marathon taking place that weekend (see map for details). Starting at noon on Saturday, May 1, the following streets will be closed:

• W Hastings St – West of Burrard, from Burrard St to Bute St
• W Pender St – from Burrard St to Denman St
• Thurlow St – from Eveleigh St to W Cordova St

The service will be livestreamed by First Baptist Church. A recording will be available after the service for those unable to watch live.
