Book Launch with Gary Thomas | The Life You Were Reborn to Live
The Regent Bookstore invites you to join us on Tuesday, February 24, 7–8:30 pm, for a launch event for The Life You Were Reborn to Live: Dismantling 12 Lies That Rob Your Intimacy with God. This new book from well-known author and speaker Gary Thomas (DipCS ’86, MCS ’88) invites Christians to unlearn common spiritual lies. After hearing from Gary about this new book, we'll take some time for Q&A and book signing.

About the Author
Gary Thomas is an author and speaker who strives to bring together Scripture, church history, and classic Christian literature to foster spiritual growth and deeper relationships within the Christian community. He has written numerous popular and award-winning books on marriage, parenting, and spiritual formation. His works include Sacred Marriage, Authentic Faith, When to Walk Away, Cherish, and Devotions for a Sacred Marriage.
Gary holds a BA in English Literature from Western Washington University, an MCS in theology from Regent College, and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Western Seminary. He served on the teaching team at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, for 11 years and is currently on the teaching team at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Gary was also previously an adjunct faculty member at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, and Houston Theological Seminary in Houston, Texas. He has spoken at events across the United States and internationally, and has appeared on various television and radio programs.
Gary enjoys running in his spare time and has completed 14 marathons, including the Boston Marathon three times. He and his wife Lisa have three adult children and two grandchildren.
