Alumni Events in Winston-Salem
Alumni and friends of Regent College are warmly invited to join President Paul Spilsbury in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Thursday, February 12. After gathering for a light dinner at a local eatery, we’ll hear Paul deliver a public lecture on the Book of Revelation at The Study Center at Wake Forest University.
Please Note:
- The dinner and lecture will take place at separate venues, which are about five minutes apart by car (see a map).
- There is one RSVP form for the dinner and a separate one for the lecture. Please be sure to RSVP by Tuesday, February 10, for each part of the evening you plan to attend.
Dinner with Alumni & Friends

Public Lecture
Join us from 7 to 8:30 pm at The Study Center at Wake Forest University (1203 Polo Road, Winston-Salem), where Paul will deliver a lecture titled "The Throne, the Lamb, and the Dragon: The Urgent Message of the Book of Revelation for Today."
Have you ever felt confused or frightened by the Book of Revelation? Have you ever wished you had a better handle on how to read this most enigmatic of books? In this lecture, Paul Spilsbury will provide tools to help you understand and to lean into Revelation’s powerful message for today's world.

Paul Spilsbury
President; Professor of New Testament
Dr. Paul Spilsbury joined the Regent College faculty in August 2015 as Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament and assumed the role of President in 2025. Paul's doctoral studies, undertaken at the University of Cambridge (Queens' College), focused on the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus. Before joining Regent's faculty, he taught New Testament at Canadian Bible College and Ambrose University.
