Book Launch: At the Feet of Jesus
Please join us at 7 pm on January 7 to celebrate the release of At the Feet of Jesus: A Guide to Encountering Christ in the Gospels by Bruce Hindmarsh and Carolyn Hindmarsh.
Written as a guide to prayerful reading of Scripture, this book is an invitation to join one of Jesus’s closest friends as she sits at Jesus’s feet in faith, falls at Jesus’s feet in hope, and anoints Jesus’s feet in love. The exercises in At the Feet of Jesus are designed to help the reader look afresh at the Lord, draw near to him, and encounter him personally. And he loves you like he loved Mary, her sister Martha, and her brother Lazarus. Like them, you can open your home to him. Like them, you can be befriended by him. He is still inviting us to “choose the better part.”
There will be a lecture, Q&A, and book signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the Regent Bookstore.
Parking: Regent College no longer has its own parking lot. Paid parking options are available nearby with metered parking on Western Parkway, among other locations, and covered pay parking at the Thunderbird Parkade. See parking.ubc.ca for more info.
