Book Launch: The Glory of the Ascension
Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, December 2, for the launch of Ross Hastings's new book, The Glory Of The Ascension: Celebrating a Doctrine for the Life of the Church (IVP Academic, 2025). In this book, Ross illuminates the ascension as a celebration of the completed atonement, out of which flows the intercessory work of Jesus the Great High Priest. The ascension marks the beginning of Christ’s intercessory work in heaven, enabling us to worship and pray. His priesthood is how we, his people, are also priests; his offering and ongoing priestly intercession enable us to be holy and become holy.
The book launch will include a presentation on the book, as well as time for Q&A and a book signing.
Time: Tuesday, December 2, 7–8:30 pm
Location: Regent College, Chapel (5800 University Blvd, Vancouver, BC)
