Biblical Studies
Biblical Studies
A concentration in Biblical Studies is available for MATS students who want to develop a biblical perspective that involves both the Old and the New Testament. It combines the requirements of concentrations in Old Testament and New Testament, culminating in completion of both comprehensive exams.
Concentration Coordinator: Matthew Lynch
Notes:
- The Biblical Studies concentration does not offer a thesis option. Students wishing to write a thesis should concentrate in either Old Testament or New Testament.
- If you plan to proceed to advanced study in either Old Testament or New Testament, you are advised that additional language study will likely be necessary beyond what is required for this concentration.
