Kara Martin
About
Kara Martin is the author of Workship: How to Use your Work to Worship God (Graceworks, 2017) and Workship 2: How to Flourish at Work (Graceworks, 2018), and the co-author of Keeping Faith: How Christian Organisations Can Stay True to the Way of Jesus (with Stephen Judd and John Swinton; Langham, 2024). Kara is a Lecturer at Mary Andrews College in Sydney and an Adjunct Professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; she is also a Visiting Fellow with the Mockler Center for Faith and Ethics in the Public Square and Co-Chair of the Theology of Work Project in the United States.
Kara’s professional background includes work in media and communications, human resources, business analysis, and policy development in a variety of organisations and as a consultant. She has presented, taught, and run workshops in churches and theological colleges in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. She also mentors leaders through Regent College's MALTS program and the Salvation Army.
